Take a look

Hey,

So I watched Britain’s Got Talent tonight and really enjoyed watching this and as a disabled person I really enjoyed the humour.

Let me know what you think?

Book review

Hello,

I recently finished Am I Normal Yet by Holly Bourne.

I laughed, cried, shouted and whimpered at this book. It showed the truth about OCD. I wanted to finish it as quickly as possible but also wanted to read it forever. It’s been a while since I have had a book that I felt like that.

I am glad this is the first of a trilogy as I can’t wait to read the others.

I could relate to some of her thought patterns and anxiety in many ways and especially her fear of trying to be normal and not ending up in a bad state again.

I would read this over and over again.

If you read it or have read it what are your thoughts on it?

Please help if you can

Hey,

So a close friend of mine has been having a difficult time over the last few years and now her mobility is getting worse. She has always been a great person to be around and I really hope this new chair will make her independent and happy again. Please help if you can. Even just sharing the post will help.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and if you are able to donate please do.

Up until I was 9 years of age I was the type of child that would want to be on the move 24/7. My main objective was scaring my parents to death with all my sporting activities and mischief. However, at the age of 9 my world changed. This is when I became disabled. My disability was no-ones fault, it was just one of those things.

For the last 10 and a half years I have lived with a neurological condition which has left me with many problems, including bladder problems, impaired sight and becoming a neurological paraplegic. The newest of all the problems has been becoming semi-paralysed in my left arm. Though doctors are still baffled by what my disability is or what caused it, over the years the illness has been stable and then gotten worse and then become stable again. There have been many tests and investigations…

I went on a horse

Hello,

Yesterday I rode a horse called Sammy it was amazing. I felt really tall.

I was quite nervous to begin with but slowly got more comfortable. It was hard to keep sitting up right so ended up leaning foreward quite a bit.

Have any of you ever been horse riding? Let me know below in the comments I would love to know what you  think.
